Coming into this program I had no idea to expect; I had never long-boarded. The first day began with a struggle as I had to figure out how I was going to get the design I wanted on the size wood I had to work with. After a few hours of perseverance and almost breaking a shop machine, I had a 54 inch deck that was starting to look like a longboard, and by the end of the day I was polishing it off. Today I hope to get the trucks on my deck so I can test the ride.
