I
picked the design that I did because I wanted to create a freeriding
board that would be convenient in any situations. These boards can
drift, slide, make hard carves and aggressive maneuvers. I made mine
symmetrical so it could be bidirectional. I wanted the board to stand
out and not look ordinary, so I made some significant grooves along the
top and bottom edges giving it an interesting look, rather than just the
look of an ordinary board. I made it somewhat short, and thin, because I
wanted it to be as light as possible to ensure easy transport.
