Today was all about getting the polyurethane on. The stencil didn't come out as clean as I'd hoped, but seeing as bernie's hair is supposed to be crazy, I left it, and I think I really like how rough it is. So I'm two coats into the process of putting on the cover, so we'll see how it goes from here. I'm still leaning towards a very simple grip tape pattern, with just showing a stripe of the wood, and keeping with the black grip, but we'll see how that works out.
