Today was the day when I finally got to put together and ride my longboard!  The whole design looks great.  My first challenge of the day was figuring out the griptape design.  I decided to use a brick-like design that is reminiscent of the wall on the bottom of the board.  This ties the whole board together, and looks great!  I also started painting my helmet.  I am planning on doing a mystery machine design, but that will take a while because it has many layers.  I am almost glad the helmet contest got moved to next week.
