The first day of March intensive was productive. Most of us have already cut out, sanded, and drilled our decks. I am the only one who decided to do make a drop through deck in spite of the snowday yesterday. A drop through deck means that there is a hole in the deck and the trucks are mounted with the baseplates on the top of the deck rather than the bottom; this makes the board lower to the ground, making it more stable and better for cruising. So far, I am very pleased with my deck. I can't wait to get out and ride it.
