Day 2

Chris H.
Today was a much more hectic day than before. The wood-shop was very crowded and loud with everyone working with the tools. Sadly there weren’t enough for everyone so you had to wait and then pounce on a tool whenever one opened up. Shaping and cutting the longboard was very difficult. You could only cut off a little bit at a time and I always seemed to break the saw. Sanding was a long task, because you never were really sure if you were done. After a lunch/silk-screen break we put lacquer onto the boards. The lacquer was more difficult to put on. It came in a spray can, but like many others I put it on too heavily. It all worked out in the end and I am really excited about how the board is looking.
